On Tuesday 23rd our class went to see Taiko Drumming in the hall. Taiko drumming is a Japanese type of drumming. They used it to scare off enemies in the war and in the Temples. They learn by learning each sound means a difrent type of hit. They told us to clap along with the drum beat it was realy hard. All the classes that where the really got into it. At the end all the people who play drums went up and palyed the Taiko drums. The ladies played other intruments too. They made there drums from barrels, they didn’t bring there biggest drum because they would have had to take another car. They yelled out sounds for special things. They had special shoes on that seperate the big toe from the little toes. They have to bow twice befor they enter a Dojo, it is a sign of respect.
